Red LED Light

Red LED Light is used for treating the epidermis and has been shown to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and so helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Red light is also thought to improve blood circulation and help with the penetration of active ingredients.

Green LED Light

Green LED Light has a calming effect and can help lighten age spots, sun damage and hyperpigmentation for a brighter, more even complexion.

The Infrared Light (IR) penetrates even deeper than the red light and triggers wound healing, decreases inflammation, and can help with pain relief and muscle relaxation.

Who can have this treatment?


If you have any of the following, you CANNOT have this treatment: Pregnancy or breastfeeding Epilepsy or seizures triggered by light Thyroid conditions Suspicious lesions Malignant tumours Open wounds – do not apply over the area Topical or Systemic Steroids (NSAIDs) or cortisone injections Heavy creams on the skin – cleanse skin first Taking medication that causes photosensitivity such as acne medication, diuretics, or certain antibiotics Use of topical treatments such as retinoid that cause sensitivity to sunlight Photosensitivity disorders Light sensitive headaches or migraines Auto immune and metabolic disorders which can result in light induced rashes Any genetic condition of the eyes Unrealistic expectations Uncooperative patient (patient is careless about sun exposure or following aftercare advice)




How many treatments are recommended?


1 Treatment weekly, for 6-12 weeks. Once desired results are achieved, we recommend a session once every 1-2 months. We will base these time frames on the individual.




How long is the treatment?


The full LED facial we offer is 1 hour long, complimenting the LED with high quality products tailored to your skin type and concerns. You will only be under the LED light for up to 20 minutes.




Do you have to do a course of treatments or can you have just one?


If you have skin concerns you wish to treat, we recommend a course of treatments. The amount of sessions will depend on the individual. However you can have individual sessions as a boost or maintenance and it can also be added to other skin treatments to improve your results.




Do you recommend maintenance treatments?


We recommended a maintenance sessions once every 1-2 months.




Aftercare advice:


- Avoid intense UV exposure / sun beds for 7 days prior to treatment and 48 hours after treatment. - Daily application of SPF.
